Will I have to teach outside my specialism?
At Key Stage 3 and in combined science, most schools expect all three sciences. For A level we match on your specialism. We tell you which applies before you accept.
Do I need qualified teacher status?
For teaching roles, schools usually ask for QTS, QTLS or an overseas qualification recognised in England. Without one, cover supervisor and support roles may suit you, and we can talk through the options.
How soon could I start work?
As soon as your checks are complete. We take you through identity, right to work, references, an enhanced DBS and your qualifications. If your DBS certificate is on the update service, that step can move faster.
